POLICIES OF JENKS HYPNOSIS AND TRAINING CENTER, LLC

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any student enrolled in a course cancelled by the school will receive a full refund.

Any applicant who fails to make full payment prior to the beginning of class will be deemed to have withdrawn from class and shall be entitled to a refund of all monies paid minus 15% of the contract price of the course, but in no event will the school retain more than $150.00.

Any applicant rejected by the school shall be entitled to a refund of all monies paid.

All monies paid by an applicant will be refunded if requested within three days after signing an enrollment agreement and making an initial payment.

An applicant requesting a refund after the three day period but before starting the course shall be entitled to a refund of all monies paid minus 15% of the contract price of the course, but in no event will the school retain more than $150.00.

REFUND POLICY

The termination date for refund computation purposes is the last date of actual attendance by the student.

Students who terminate training during the first week will receive a refund of 90% of the contract price of the course minus $150.00, but in no event shall more than $350.00 be deducted from the original contract price of the course.

Students who terminate training from after the first week up through 25% of the course will receive a refund of 75% of the contract price of the course minus $150.00.

Students who terminate training after 25% up through 50% of the course will receive a refund of 50% of the contract price of the course minus $150.00.

Students who terminate training after more than 50% of the course has been completed will receive no refund.

Any student enrolled in a course cancelled by the school will receive a full refund.

The Jenks Hypnosis and Training Center LLC reserves the right to terminate any student for improper or disruptive behavior. Students who are terminated will receive a refund according to the refund policies.

In the case of a student's prolonged illness, accident, death in the family or other circumstance that makes it impractical or impossible to complete the course will be entitled to a refund that is fair to both the school and the student.

Any monies due the student shall be refunded within thirty (30) days from the termination date.

SHORT COURSE REFUND POLICY

(SHORT COURSE is defined as a course no more than 8 hours in length)

Students who terminate training from a short course after class has started will receive no refund.

Students who have enrolled in a short course and do not attend class receive no refund. Exceptions may be made in the event of an accident, death in the family or other circumstance which makes completion (or attendance) of class impossible.

Students who cancel a short course at least 48 hours prior to the beginning of class will receive a full refund.

Any student enrolled in a course cancelled by the school will receive a full refund.

PAYMENT OF FEES

Pre registration is required for all courses.

A minimum of 50% of all costs must be paid at the time of registration. The remaining fees must be paid prior to the start of the first class.

Any applicant who fails to make full payment prior to the beginning of the first class will be deemed to have withdrawn from the course and shall be entitled to a refund of all monies paid minus 15% of the contract price of the course, but in no event will the school retain more than $150.00.

FEES INCLUDE

Course Fees include the price of the course with book(s), and materials listed only. Any additional expense incurred by the student such as hotel accommodations, meals, travel, etc. are the sole responsibility of the student.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All students must be of legal age. No exceptions are permitted.

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required. Students who do not meet this requirement and can provide evidence of alternative training may be accepted at the discretion of the Director of the Jenks Hypnosis and Training Center LLC.

SCHOOL REJECTION POLICY

Jenks Hypnosis and Training Center LLC complies with the standards and ethics of the National Guild of Hypnosis. This Center reserves the right to refuse any applicant deemed inappropriate or unable to comply with the strict standards and ethics of the National Guild of Hypnosis.

CREDIT FOR PRIOR TRAINING

No prior schooling or on the job training is recognized for financial credit and/or academic credit.

STUDENT GRIEVANCES

Students who feel their refund or treatment is inappropriate may contact the Oklahoma Board of Private Vocational Schools.

GRADING POLICY

75% of student's grade is based on class participation, proficiency and understanding of presented skills and concepts as demonstrated to the instructor. 25% of student's grade is based on the end of course written exam. Students will be deemed to have passed the Basic Hypnosis and Advanced Hypnosis for Certification courses based on securing a final grade of no less than 75%. Students who fail to satisfactorily complete a course may be given the opportunity to repeat the course at one half the normal tuition cost.

Any student who fails to participate may be dismissed at the discretion of the instructor.

All courses are pass/fail. No probationary period is offered.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

(Courses of more than eight [8] hours)
Students who miss 11 hours (equivalent of 2 classes) or more in the Basic Hypnosis course or 8 hours (equivalent of approximately 1.5 classes) of the Advanced Hypnosis for Certification course will be considered to have withdrawn and all withdrawal policies apply.

Students who arrive more than 15 minutes after the start of class, without notification to the instructor, will be considered tardy. After three (3) incursions the student may be dismissed at the discretion of the instructor.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

(Courses of eight [8] hours or less)
Short courses have no specific attendance policy.

MAKE UP POLICY

"Make Up" work is normally not available.

STUDENT CONDUCT POLICY

Any student who fails to participate in class, who is disruptive or displays inappropriate behavior may be terminated at the discretion of the instructor.
